The Fair Chance Pledge is an initiative that aims to provide a second chance to Americans with criminal records. It called upon higher education institutes and businesses to take the pledge to remove any barriers that stopped individuals with records from getting hired for jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the official manifesto, around 70 million Americans seem to have a criminal record of some sort, and this record prevents them from fully taking part in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
